Condolence: I am truly sorry to hear of Brian's passing. It has been many years since I last saw him. I am a very good friend of his sister, Kathy and we as kids hung out and grew up together. Your dad is a great man and a man of many talents. The one I most remember is his singing. He is now in the hands of our dear lord and I know that Brian with be singing his heart out and watching over all of you.

Condolence: Dear Erin and Julian,
Suzie and I were very sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He was very active with music and young people and obviously was a great strength to both of you. He will be missed but I'm sure left great memories.

Condolence: Brian gave me opportunities with Wagon Stage and performing at the Children's fest that really were instrumental in my development as an artist.

One of my favourite exercises he had us do while directing us for Wagonstage was singing this song he taught us called "Inky Dinky". He howled with laughter every time we performed it. Will never forget that.

You are all in my thoughts.

Condolence: I recall Brian being a great colleague, and a wonderful, energetic, enthusiastic advocate for Theatre for Young Audiences. His influence was felt throughout the city, in the plays he directed, in the classes he taught, in the works he administered, and in his valuable advice and behind the scenes support. He was terrific, and I am so sorry to learn of his passing. He will be remembered and missed.

Condolence: Your wonderful father dropped by before Christmas for a reconnection that I will value the rest of my life. His clear mind, beautiful soul was very present and open. We had tea and talked about our lives and enjoyed moments of just being. Brian, for me, is a marker. His integrity is something that affirmed my own and I pale in comparison. I am a firm believer in transcendence and thank him for touching our earth. Love to his family on this path of grief and love to all who knew his gifts. I am forever changed by his presence.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear about Brian's passing. I remember looking up to Brian when I was young and stage-struck, seeing him in productions in Kitchener. I wanted to be just like him. He once offered me three simple words of encouragement when I was about ten years old and they have stuck with me forever.

He will be deeply missed.
