Art Willberg passed away suddenly at home in Calgary on July 12, 2019 at the age of 60.
Art was born Dec 27, 1958 in Calgary. After completing his Civil Engineering in 1979, he worked as an estimator in the Structural Steel & Fabricating business. Art had a great laugh and a unique sense of humor. He lived life through simple pleasures, fishing, camping and spending his time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Monique, and their 3 sons, Chris (Erika), Sean and Chad; brother Herb (Elaine) Willberg; sisters Barb (David) Olsen, Mary (Stuart) Howell, and Yvonne Carroll; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Art was predeceased by his parents, Arthur & Delia Willberg and sister Dorothy Richards.
Family, friends and others whose lives Art touched are invited to 2nd Floor Royal Canadian Legion, Kensington Branch (1918 Kensington Rd NW, Calgary) on Saturday July 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm to celebrate his life, reminisce, grieve, share stories (open mic), and of course just chat. Dress casual and as per Art's wishes, come & have a beer.
