Brayden Lloyd
July 21st, 1994 - November 2nd, 2019

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Brayden Lloyd on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at the age of 25.

Brayden will be forever loved and remembered by his father Tim Lloyd; mother Susan Lloyd; and sibling Dakota Lloyd.

Brayden was passionate about cars, especially the genuine American muscles cars, Lincolns and Mustangs. He lived and breathed cars since the time he was little. He would take apart the little matchbox toy cars, and then graduated to real cars where he would take pieces from one car to fix other cars.

Brayden also loved sneakers, and had quite a selection of them. He would stand in line all night to buy two pairs (for a great price), and then turn around and sell one pair for a profit. He would often say "don't mess with the sneaks".

His favourite place to go was Forget Me Not Ridge in Kananaskis where he loved to take photos. He took incredible scenic photos, which often had cars as the focal point.

Brayden always went the extra mile for others. He just wanted the world to be a kinder place.

A Celebration of Brayden's Life will be held at Calgary First Church of the Nazarene (65 Richard Way SW) on Friday, November 15th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brayden’s memory to the Calgary Distress Centre.

Heaven has a new angel
He left so much behind
But there was nothing available
To change his troubled mind

No love could hold him
No logic would work
His ongoing depression
Has returned him to earth

We will miss your smile
The cheeky things you did
But our love will continue to speak
To your voice in the wind

Brayden, we first met you at Third Academy and after having such bad experiences at school you were one of the few kids that really understood Dallas and you became the best of friends. You spent alot of time at our house and spent a lot of time with both Dallas and Dylan and this started the beginning of your great adventures together You guys would go to all of the new movie screenings together and you would talk about your love of movies and shoes and cars together. You knew the most about cars and took so much pride in your shoes then anyone I ever met. You would say you could mess with me but don't touch my shoes. You guys would go to the comic expos together and share your love of My Little Ponies and Marvel. You stayed in touch with us even after we moved away to Estevan and we were so glad you came and visited us in Estevan. You and Dallas always got together almost every time we came back to Calgary and you would pick him up in one of your fancy new old cars and go to movies together. Thanks for being such a great friend to Dallas and Dylan and for being like one of our adopted sons. We love you and we miss you so much. Forever in our hearts! We will never forget you! Love Ken, Deb, Dallas & Dylan Gordey

I first met Brayden about a year ago while working at champs sports. He shared a love for shoes that we could just stand there talking forever about shoes and different sneakers, showing photos and discussing all upcoming releases we wanted. He had such a big heart and a smile that could light up the room. He was such an amazing man and he will forever be in my heart and memories. RIP Brayden, I miss you so much man.
