David Borenstein passed away suddenly on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the age of 46 years. David was born in Kitchener, ON and moved to Calgary, AB at the age of 9 years with his mother, Elissa. David always loved cars and owned an impressive collection of model cars that he had been collecting since he was a small child.
As a young adult, David began his life-long career in the towing industry and was the proud owner of Metro Towing & Recovery Ltd. for many years, until his death. David was very gregarious and made many friends during his lifetime. He was a kind and generous man and loved to help people.
David will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Elissa Cook and many friends. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Christ Moravian Church, 600 Acadia Drive SE, Calgary, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to either: Centre for Suicide Prevention, #320, 105-12 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 1A1 or to the Christ Moravian Church, 600 Acadia Drive SE, Calgary, AB, T2J 0B8.
