NEW CELEBRATION OF LIFE INFORMATION AT BOTTOM OF OBITUARY
It is with heavy hearts that we announce Dodie passed away peacefully on Friday 1, 2020.
Dodie was predeceased by her husband Russell (Happy). She is survived by her children Jim (Annette), Perry, Candy, Dawn, Rusty (Sharon) and Doug. Her grandchildren Bobby, Russell, Christy, Danny, Justin, Wyatt and Sawyer; As well as her Step Son Ronnie Burell, and his children Stacy, Shaun, Erin, Ashely and Cody.
Dodie will lovingly be remembered as a woman of great integrity, love, kindness, compassion, courage, her fabulous laugh and her love of the Lord. She was young at heart and clear of mind. She kept up on current affairs, politics and technology.
Dodie spent many years working at Northlands Park with our entire family whom all have a life long love for the horse racing industry.
We would like to say a special thank you to all of Mom’s Christian gang for many years of friendship, fellowship and many shenanigans.
Though she was small, she was mighty.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dodie may be made to the Veteran’s Food Bank (www.theveteransfoodbankofcalgary.ca).

A Celebration of Dodie's Life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 3:30 pm at The Ark (52301 Range Road 223, Sherwood Park, AB).
The family invites you to join us afterwards for food and drinks. We will also be staying on afterwards to enjoy the firepit, so please feel free to bring a lawn chair and your beverage of choice. We are trying to figure out a number for the caterer, so if you could be so kind as to send me a yay or a nay (via email: takemehomecountryroad7@gmail.com) that would be great. We look forward to seeing you. Thank you,
