DUFFY, Robert William
Robert William Duffy was born August 18, 1951 in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick and passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 68 years.
Duffy is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 38 years, Jean Gilbert; step daughter, Kari Gilbert; granddaughter, Mikayla (James) Gilbert; great grandchildren, Aubrea and Ivy Gilbert; sisters, Margie (Gerard) LaForge of Wyevale of Ontario, Heather Duffy of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his dad, Glendon; mom, Catherine (Bunty) and brother, Raymond Duffy.
He will be fondly remembered by his abundance of friends for his repertoire of hilarious, ever-changing stories that could make anyone laugh. His personality will not soon be forgotten. Duffy was adored by his family and will forever be loved and missed.
A Celebration of Duffy’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Royal Canadian Legion #286, #5 1107 - 33 Street NE at 1:00 pm.
